Research Fellow (Health Economics)

Salary:  £29,762 to £40,931 plus £3953 London weighting per annum

The Institute of Lifecourse Development (ILD) launched in 2019 and is developing health economics capacity to support its research activities. We are recruiting a health economist to work alongside current ILD members, particularly Professor Paul McCrone, Professor Rosana Pacella (ILD Director), and the leads of the seven ILD centres. This post would suit candidates with a relevant PhD and with some applied research experience. 

The postholder will work on different research studies funded by external bodies such as NIHR, the Wellcome Trust and the Medical Research Council. The studies will include randomised controlled trials with a cost-effectiveness component, modelling studies, and analyses of routine data. The successful applicant will have experience of applied health economic research, be proficient in quantitative analyses, and write to a high standard.
