The Student Wellbeing Service at the University of Greenwich is looking for an experienced Student Wellbeing Services Coordinator (Disability & Dyslexia), to provide expert advice, guidance and support for students with disabilities and Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs), at our Greenwich campus.   

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will bring innovation, excellent communication and organisational skills together with the ability to work within our dynamic multidisciplinary team.

You will be able to undertake screening for SPLDs, and work effectively with students, staff and external agencies to ensure that students receive effective and timely support.  You will play a key role in developing the service at Greenwich and will have the ability to support the development of the Student Wellbeing Service through your contribution within the wider team.  This will include working with Faculty staff to develop an inclusive learning environment for our students.  You will also have experience in developing and delivering a range of workshops for both students and staff. 

Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience in delivering Study Skills support to students who are in receipt of the Disabled Students Allowance.  

You will be highly motivated, adaptable with the ability to manage a high case load at peak times.  You will have a commitment to following professional guidelines and a commitment to continued professional development, in line with the changing needs of students and the service. 

The successful candidate will be required to attend Open Day and Student Recruitment events outside of normal office hours, as part of a team rota.
