The Chief Financial Officer’s (CFO) team vision is “to become a forward thinking, inclusive CFO Team consistently offering excellent service delivery, uncompromising on quality, delivering value and ensuring the financial sustainability of the University”

To help us deliver our vision, we are looking for a Deputy Finance Director to inspire and lead five high performing teams to oversee the financial performance of the University.

You will lead, role model and coach a strong business partnering mindset that exemplifies excellent service delivery.  There is a strong strategic component to the role as you will actively input into the development and deployment of the Finance strategic priorities to support of the University’s ‘This is Our Time 2030’ strategy. With financial sustainability underpinning the foundation of the strategy, this role is critical in ensuring financial decisions are data-driven and commercially grounded.

The CFO is implementing a new finance target operating model so this is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant contribution to implementing this change and ensuring the financial sustainability of the University.

We’re looking for an individual who has a passion for developing and coaching team members to reach their potential and is adept at influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders.
