The Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences are seeking dedicated and hard-working MSc or PhD students with an interest in Education, Health and Psychology areas of research to support Faculty academics within their areas of research. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your own research skills as well as contributing to the research environment of the Faculty. Prepared to appoint up to 10 applicants.

Student Research Assistants will be responsible for assisting with, and delivering, tasks that support research and enterprise activities across the Faculty. This will involve liaising with research and academic staff and contributing to the organisation of academic events. The Research Assistants will be required to take part in literature searching, data entry, basic data analysis, writing up reports, and complete general admin tasks such as transcribing. 

The post will require strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organisational and time-management skills and the ability to work efficiently and flexibly, both as independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidates will have experience of working in an environment aligned to the Faculty however this is not a requirement.

Student Research Assistants will be required to give up to 7-10 hours of their time per week during the academic year, however workload will be based on the requests for support received from Academic staff.  Successful candidates will need to complete a DBS check.
