Salary:  £51,034 to £59,135 plus £4872 London weighting per annum

We are seeking expressions of interest from staff currently located within the School of Health Sciences, to undertake the role of lead for practice learning, on an 3 months interim basis. 

You will hold registration with the NMC or HCPC and have outstanding interpersonal skills as a key element of this role is relationship management with our health and social care partners. This is a key role working closely with the Head of School and wider School leadership team. You will provide leadership in relationship management, working collaboratively with the School’s partners and practice placement providers. A core element of the role is to continually review and monitor placement capacity, negotiating with partners to maximise and expand capacity, using data from capacity mapping exercises to inform the School’s recruitment numbers as part of the annual University planning round. You will also have the opportunity to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, representing the School at Pan-London and Kent & Medway regional meetings. 

The interim role will be for a minimum of 3 months commencing 27th September 2021 and provides an excellent opportunity for personal and professional development. You will have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the ongoing development of the School’s strategic direction as we expand our education offer to encompass the development of new roles and programmes while developing your own leadership skills. This opportunity will provide an excellent foundation for those wishing to apply for HEA Senior or indeed, Principal Fellowship.
