Salary:  £33,797 to £39,152 plus £3706 London weighting per annum

The newly formed School of Health Sciences is part of a highly successful and vibrant faculty. Frequently commended for our partnership working across the health and social care sector, the School delivers a range of undergraduate and post graduate programmes that lead to registration in nursing, midwifery, health visiting/school nursing, speech and language therapy, and paramedic science. We also have a wide portfolio of post qualifying provision including the MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and the Faculty’s PhD in Health & Social Care programme. The School has a vibrant research culture contributing fully to the faculty’s ambitious and achievable long-term plan to build internationally leading research.

We are seeking an experienced registered midwife who has ambition to develop their role as an educator having developed teaching and assessing skills through a mentorship/ practice assessor role. The post holder will play a key role in facilitating teaching and learning across our midwifery and nursing provision. 

Successful applicants will have opportunity to complete a PGCHE and progress through our GOLD framework to achieve HEA senior fellowship, as well as contribute to faculty wide research and enterprise activities.  Opportunity also exists to undertake doctoral studies through a professional doctorate or PhD programme. The University has an established career framework which offers opportunity for promotion through an annual application process.
