This post is for a highly effective person, capable of delivering high quality education in a variety of formats teaching on postgraduate and undergraduate Personal, Professional Development and Employability modules.

The Teaching Fellow Personal, Professional Development and Employability role will contribute to the Personal and Professional Development (PPD) and Career and Professional Practice (CPP) courses, teaching students to:

  • Identify own skill sets and motivations for employability.

  • Understand the job market in terms of structure and process.

  • Apply their skills, knowledge and attributes during learning activities in order to gain experience of the job search process and the employment setting.

  • Take ownership of their own career development on a lifelong basis.

  • To develop students’ ability to undertake effective small-scale independent research within a management context.

  • Enhance their immediate and sustainable employability.

In addition, the Teaching Fellow will also contribute to the Management Practice courses, teaching students to:

  • Understand management practice including management roles, skills, and challenges at various levels and in different scenarios.

  • Apply systems thinking for management and the situations associated with management activities.

  • Develop their ability to analyse management data and be critical about evidence. 

  • Consider the challenges associated with different levels of management practice and performance management.

The Faculty of Business is one of four faculties at the University of Greenwich and provides a wide range or postgraduate and undergraduate programmes.
