Salary:  £33,199 to £48,676 plus £4069 London weighting per annum

The University of Greenwich is seeking a well-qualified academic or practitioner with proven teaching and research experience to assist in the delivery of its postgraduate and undergraduate programmes. You will have academic and/or professional experience in health and safety management and experience in construction, engineering, environmental protection or other related area would be of benefit.  Ideally you will have teaching and research experience in the Higher Education Sector, have an established track record of advanced professional practice and be a Chartered Member of IOSH.  A Postgraduate qualification is essential and a PhD or similar qualification will be a distinct advantage.


You will have either a Post Graduate Certificate of Education or have commenced study within 12 months.


Starting salary level will depend upon qualification and experience. The successful candidate shall be on a dedicated career pathway to enable progression to Senior Lecturer if starting as Lecturer.

The Department of Built Environment is located in the World Heritage Greenwich Maritime Campus with all the benefits it has to offer. The delivery of our courses and programmes is being augmented by new research and teaching synergies, innovative teaching methodologies and closer relationships to our colleagues in practice and professional institutions.
