The Admissions Operations Manager will lead a team responsible for making decisions and processing a very large numbers of applications, including home and overseas, undergraduate, postgraduate taught, and postgraduate research, for admission to the University of Greenwich. 

You will be responsible for the effective day to day running of the Admissions section, developing and maintaining processes and procedures for large scale decision making and processing to ensure fairness and transparency. You will liaise with academic departments and professional services to ensure delivery of the admissions service, as well as keeping abreast of external developments in the higher education admissions sector. You will take lead responsibility for specific areas of admissions policy or projects, including responsibility for the fee assessments process, and for fee status appeals.  

The Admissions Operations Manager will work closely with the other Admissions Operations Manager and have responsibility for the line management of 3-4 direct reports and provide guidance to an admissions team of 25 staff. You will have the ability to manage and motivate a large team, monitoring and improving performance with a strong data management skills, and strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills. You will have demonstrable experience of the UCAS system and the principles and processes which underpin a fair and transparent admissions service. You will also be driven to explore new ideas and be creative when reviewing business processes, always looking for ways to improve.
