As part of our on-going development strategy, the University of Greenwich is seeking a Teaching Fellow in Public Relations and Communications. The role is part-time (0.5) and is based in the Department of Marketing, Events and Tourism in the Faculty of Business in the Old Royal Naval College at Greenwich - a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Faculty of Business have a strong commitment to diversity and internationalism, and this is reflected in our staff and student profiles.

The position offers opportunities for teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and enables an ambitious candidate to play an important role in the shaping of the future development of the department’s approach to its curriculum design. 

This Teaching Fellow role would teach the following subjects:


-  PR planning including digital content planning 

-   Social media management and evaluation

-   Public affairs and political communications

-   Corporate communications 

-   Social theory

-   Ethics in PR 


Applicants need to be confident in developing inspiring module materials and learning activities within a blended learning environment and providing excellent student support and pastoral care.
