The Education Support Unit, based within the UK Student Recruitment Office, is seeking a fixed term Graduate Education Support Officer. This role is one of a team of eight student recruitment specialists providing support to prospective students across target feeder schools and colleges interested in applying to the University.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and have enjoyed a positive higher education experience, having made an active and substantial contribution to university life. The post holder will become an advocate to prospective students for the benefits of higher education and for the University of Greenwich.You should possess good knowledge of UCAS and have strongcommunication and organisational skills. As the first point of contact for schools and colleges with the team, you should have the customer service skills to develop and maintain links with key feeder schools and colleges. You will also be required to attend and support the organisation of fairs, school talks, and school conferences, recruitment events and Open Days as required with regular travel in the UK working flexibly, including evenings and occasional weekends.

The successful role holder will be required to work closely with the other teams within the directorate, together with other directorates and Faculties to maximise positive exposure for the University of Greenwich. The service is underpinned by the University’s shared values of aspiration, confidence, creativity, professionalism and responsibility.  We encourage the development of staff aspirations and confidence, placing individual responsibility and accountability in decision making.  He/she will provide direct support to the Education Liaison Leads and Education Support Manager to achieve the University’s student recruitment targets.
