            <p id="isPasted"><strong>Academic Portfolio Lead (FEHHS Medway Campus Lead)</strong></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong><br>The Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences (FEHHS) is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead the expansion of our provision at the Medway campus. This strategic role will focus on three key areas: <strong>Medway students, Medway staff, and Medway stakeholders</strong>.</p><p>You will provide leadership to academic staff based at Medway, foster a vibrant student community, and build strong external partnerships to ensure our provision meets local and regional needs. Acting as an advocate for change, you will influence and enable growth strategies, deliver on strategic priorities, and champion innovation in teaching, research, and knowledge exchange.</p><p>The role is fixed-term for three years, reverting to the substantive AC3 Senior Lecturer post following the end of the term</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>Lead the development and delivery of FEHHS programmes and placements at Medway.</li><li>Support Heads of School in implementing strategic priorities and business plans.</li><li>Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the Medway and Kent region.</li><li>Promote excellence in teaching, research, and student experience.</li><li>Act as a brand ambassador for the University and Faculty.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong><br>&nbsp;You will have a proven track record of leadership, management, and academic achievement, including experience in teaching, research, and external engagement.             <p id="isPasted">Are you an organised, detail-focused professional with strong administrative skills and an interest in research and knowledge exchange in a Higher Education context? We are looking for a <strong>Senior Research and Knowledge Exchange Officer</strong> to support and promote a wide range of activities including events, training programmes and conferences. The role involves providing marketing and communications services to promote the ILD and its activities and to ensure key information reaches both internal and external stakeholders in an effective and timely way.&nbsp;</p><p>Embedded within the Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences, the ILD seeks to reduce inequalities and promote lifelong good health and wellbeing, inclusive education, decent work, and peace and justice for all. We are committed to innovative, multidisciplinary research that supports the vulnerable in our society.</p><p><strong>Purpose of the Role&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Reporting to the ILD Research and Knowledge Exchange Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the ILD, and provide administrative support for a wide range of activities related to ILD&rsquo;s research and knowledge exchange work<del cite="mailto:Rosana%20Pacella" datetime="2025-10-01T06:31">&nbsp;</del>. This is a varied role involving interaction with a wide range of university colleagues and stakeholders.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Marketing and communications for ILD research and knowledge exchange including web, social media and marketing collateral&nbsp;</li><li>Organising a programme of events to support ILD R&amp;KE</li><li>Administrative support to the ILD including finance administration and supporting meetings / committees&nbsp;</li><li>Developing and maintaining databases of internal and external stakeholders for effective communications &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>What We&rsquo;re Looking For&nbsp;</strong></p><p>You will need strong communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships with administrative and academic colleagues. &nbsp;You must have excellent organisational skills and be able to plan and prioritise a busy schedule of work to achieve objectives. You will have experience of working in a large and complex organisation, ideally within higher education.</p><p>We are looking for someone with strong IT skills who enjoys multi-tasking, having several complex projects on the go at any one time.
