An important priority within the strategy is to establish an excellent online learning provision, establishing new innovative programmes along with supporting existing provision to develop further. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Module Leaders play a vital role in the University and are essential to the success of our online ambitions. Under direction from the Programme Lead, you will take responsibility for designing and delivering a high-quality module, aligned with the wider programme aims and practices. The substantive position for this role is Lecturer in the advertised field.&nbsp;</p><p>An experienced subject expert in, International Business, you will have an in-depth view of the module, the experience of students on it and understand how this contributes to the overall programme experience. You will develop and maintain the academic coherence and quality of the module, ensuring it remains current and meets student expectations. This role requires you to be a motivational leader for your students and for your colleagues. &nbsp;</p><p>We are looking for applicants who have programme/module design experience. Previous teaching experience as part of a fully online programme is desirable. You will understand quality, regulatory and policy requirements for delivering HE education and have experience of working to these expectations.             <p id="isPasted"><strong>Background</strong></p><p>The School of Health Sciences is part of a highly successful and vibrant faculty, frequently commended for our partnership working across the health and social care sector. Supported by our simulation strategy and resources, the school delivers a range of undergraduate and post graduate courses leading to registration in nursing, midwifery, and allied healthcare professions.&nbsp;The University has invested over &pound;8 million in the development of a state-of-the-art simulation centre, which further enhances our record of teaching, research and knowledge exchange innovation.</p><p><strong>The Post&nbsp;</strong></p><p>We currently have vacancies for Lecturer/Senior Lecturers in Paramedic Science, with posts based at both our Medway and Avery Hill sites. We have both Full Time and Part Time positions available. &nbsp;</p><p>We are seeking to appoint experienced paramedic practitioners/educators who will have a commitment to contributing to the university&rsquo;s excellence in teaching and learning. We welcome applications from experienced paramedics who are keen to develop their role as educators, having developed teaching and assessing skills through a practice assessor or equivalent role. The School would also consider secondments from staff employed in the ambulance service.</p><p>This opportunity is open to HCPC-registered Paramedics with broad practitioner experience and/or teaching experience in a higher education institute. As a lecturer you will play a key role in facilitating teaching and learning, and research and knowledge exchange across our Paramedic Science provision and provide an excellent student experience in a variety of formats, where diversity, inclusivity and equality are celebrated.
