            <p id="isPasted">Based within the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences on the World Heritage site at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, you will be part of an expansion of our world-leading Multi-Disciplinary and Multi-Scale Modelling and a member of the Computational Science and Engineering Group. Joining the Expanding Excellence in England (E3) funded, M<sup>3</sup>4Impact programme you will contribute to tackling major societal challenges affecting the environment, quality of life, safety, security, and the economy.&nbsp;</p><p>This role primarily lies within the Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) theme of M<sup>3</sup>4Impact and will cut across all research, enterprise and knowledge exchange activities</p><p>In this role you will strengthen our capacity to conduct high quality research and engage with industry in the areas of Materials Science, Advanced Manufacturing, Energy, Recycling and Sustainability. You will take a lead in research, enterprise and knowledge exchange activities, this includes securing new funding, mentoring junior staff members, advising M<sup>3</sup>4Impact leadership and maintaining/developing relationships with existing partners.</p><p>The successful applicant is expected to have extensive relevant research experience with a strong track record of publication in peer reviewed international journals and a proven ability to generate significant research and knowledge exchange income.           <title><![CDATA[Tutoring &amp; Support Academic Lead (5402)]]></title>

            <p>The Tutoring and Support Academic Lead will take a leading role in the implementation of the Greenwich Tutoring Framework for the University and act as the academic lead for embedding academic &amp; digital skills in the curriculum, as part of our Curriculum Shape project.</p><p>Duties and responsibilities will typically include working as part of a team to:</p><ul><li>Lead the implementation of the institution wide Greenwich Tutoring Framework for taught programmes leading to the delivery of agreed objectives for the Student Success Sub-Strategy.</li><li>Keep the Greenwich Tutoring Framework and related processes and roles under review, based on staff and student feedback and other strategic developments, to ensure that it delivers on supporting our continuation aims and students&rsquo; academic achievement.</li><li>Liaise with faculties, faculty senior tutors, professional services&nbsp;(including the Student Engagement Team, Student Services and Student Registry) and Greenwich Students&rsquo; Union to ensure that the Faculty Student Advisor role is consistently implemented across the university.</li><li>Provide academic leadership for embedding academic and digital skills in the curriculum, working with the Curriculum Shape team and the Academic &amp; Digital Skills team to provide both asynchronous and synchronous guidance and resources for programme teams.</li><li>Contribute to the development of support mechanisms to ensure that there is effective support for the teaching of academic &amp; digital skills within the curriculum, post Curriculum Shape re-design.</li></ul><p>For all informal enquiries please contact Jenny Marie, <a href="mailto:j.a.marie@gre.ac.uk">j.a.marie@gre.ac.uk</a></p><p>Should you have any queries please contact the People Directorate Team on <a href="mailto:peopleoperationsadmin@greenwich.ac.uk">peopleoperationsadmin@greenwich.ac.uk</a>&nbsp;</p><p id="isPasted">The university is a brilliant place to work.
